On August 22, 2022, Constellation Energy Generation, LLC (CEG) submitted a License Amendment Request (LAR) (Reference 1). The LAR was supplemented with a Clarification Letter (Reference 2) on September 20, 2022. The Clarification Letter (Reference 2) clarified that Westinghouse Electric Company LLC (Westinghouse) Letter LTR-NRC-21-22 (Reference 3) was being pulled into the review of the present LAR submittal for Ginna (Reference 1), as opposed to already being under separate review. CEG understands that the review of both the LAR and the Westinghouse Letter (References 1 and 3, respectively) will take longer than 24 months. CEG is hereby requesting that the LAR (Reference 1) be withdrawn. CEG is also hereby requesting the review of the technical information from the September 16, 2021, docketed Westinghouse Letter (Reference 3) with technical support from our vendor, Westinghouse.
There are no commitments contained in this letter.

Docket No. 50-244 December 28, 2022 Page 2 In accordance with 10 CFR 50.91, "Notice for public comment; State consultation,"
paragraph (b), CEG is notifying the State of New York of this withdrawal of the license amendment by transmitting a copy of this letter to the designated State Official.
