LAR to Adopt TSTF-577 (EPID L-2022-LLA-0051)
- Russ, During our review of the subject LAR, a reviewer noted the following editorial issues with the mark-up pages for the proposed changes:
- SQN Unit 1 and Unit 2:
o TS 5.6.6 item c.3 and e are missing and after the semicolon
- WBN Unit 1 and Unit 2:
o TS 5.9.9 item c.3 and e are missing and after the semicolon
- WBN Unit 2:
o TS 5.9.9 item f should end in a period versus a comma.
The items above should be corrected in a supplement to the LAR or in response to an RCI.
The reviewer noted other items, but these are not directly associated with adopting TSTF-577:
- WBN Unit 1 and Unit 2:
o TS 5.9.9 introductory paragraph contains a TS with title, but the title is not in quotes
- WBN Unit 2 o TS 5.7.2.12 paragraph b.1 is missing a comma after design specification (comma would be consistent with STS and WBN Unit 1) see yellow highlight below:
Structural integrity performance criterion: All in-service steam generator tubes shall retain structural integrity over the full range of normal operating conditions (including startup, operation in the power range, hot standby, and cooldown), all anticipated transients included in the design specification, and design basis accidents.
