In Reference 3, Exelon Generation Company, LLC (EGC) submitted an exemption request for the LaSalle County Station (LSCS) onsite portion of its calendar year (CY) 2020 biennial exercise. Clarification is required to complete NRC's review of this request. The attachment to this letter provides supplemental information for an expedited review of the request as discussed in Reference 1.
EGC requests approval of this exemption by December 31, 2020, based on the requirements for the biennial Radiological Emergency Preparedness (REP) exercise onsite participation expiring at the end of 2020. The supplemental information provided in the attachment does not affect the detailed basis and justification for this exemption request provided in Reference 3.
There are no regulatory commitments contained within this letter.

ATTACHMENT Supplemental Information Regarding Request for Exemption Related to 10 CFR 50, Appendix E, Section IV.F.2.b In Reference 3, Exelon Generation Company, LLC (EGC) submitted an exemption request for the LaSalle County Station (LSCS) onsite portion of its Radiological Emergency Preparedness (REP) calendar year (CY) 2020 biennial exercise.
As stated in Reference 3, EGC confirms that if an exemption is granted to allow EGC to conduct the CY 2020 onsite biennial exercise for LSCS in 2021, LSCS future biennial exercises (i.e., the full exercise) will continue to be held in even years.
In addition, EGC confirms that LSCS rescheduled biennial exercise to be conducted on April 13, 2021, as stated in Reference 3, has been and will continue to be coordinated with the applicable NRC Region.
Therefore, the above information provides the supplemental information for an expedited review of the exemption request in accordance with Reference 1.
