1967 through Jpne 30, 1987 the following quantities of radionuclides were released to the unrestricted areas by the Westinghouse Electric Corporation's Columbia, South Carolina nuclear fuel fabrication plant:

Gaseous 730.0 uCi Uranium (Analyzed as gross alpha)

Liquid Effluent 21,896 uCi - U234 1,160 uCi - U235 7,249 UCi - U238 Gaseous results were obtained from. point source analysis 'of stack gas ef fluent, and the individual radionuclioe composition can ce assumed to
-average the same as the liquid (72.3% U234, 3.8% U233, 23.9% U238)-
Liquid values were obtained by compositing proportlanal samples prior to discharge to the Congaree River.
