Dear Mr. Stephens:
This is to acknowledge your letter of July 9,1985, requesting NRC Region IV assistance in obtaining space and equipment for FEMA emergency response team members at the Comanche Peak site. We are planning to meet with Comanche Peak emergency planning representatives in September to discuss site specific provisions for the NRC expanded site team and will incorporate the require-ments identified in your letter in the discussion.
I will keep you informed of the results of this discussion and the accommodations provided.
We look forward to continued cooperation with your office on site specific planning for the federal response to emergencies at fixed nuclear facilities in our joint area of responsibility.
