' Units 1 and 2), Docket Nos. 50- 445/2 and 50-446/2 Gentlemen:
This responds to the Chairman's request for additional Jinformation regarding Applicants' filing dated December 7,
~
1984, in connection with stainless steel liner travelers.
The Chairman requested a more detailed explanation of the occasion for Mr. Tessier's review of Unit 2 refueling cavity liner plate travelers (see Brandt affidavit of December 7,'1984, 12).
The. apparent reason for Mr. Tessier's review was that a cursory review of some of the traveler packages conducted by Mr. Tessier's supervisor indicated the' existence of problems in documentation, such as the problems that were identified in the NCR's generated during Mr.-Tessier's review.
The Chairman also' asked why carbon copies of some NDE chits'were made, but not others.
