DPR-42 50-306 DPR-60 Modeling of Upper Plenum Injection In your letter dated November 4, 1982, you requested that we submit an ECCS model (Westinghouse Electric Company and Exxon Nuclear Company) which specif-ically treats upper plenum injection. We are currently using Exxon fuel with the exception of periodic use of one low reactivity (thrice-burned) Westing-house assembly. This assembly due to its exposure is a low power assembly and non-limiting. Therefore we plan only to respond with an Exxon model.
However, our response will not be prepared by December 15, 1982 as you requested in your letter. Our target date for submittal of our response is January 31, 1983. We have discussed this delay with your staff and it was found acceptable.
