Revised Technical Specification for the Seabrook Emergency Feedwater System

Dear Sir:

Following discussions with members of your Staff regarding the Seabrook Emergency Feedwater (EFW) System, we have agreed to modify the existing Technical Specification relative to surveillance requirements.

The following will be added to Technical Specification 4.7.1.2:

c.

At least once per 18 months during shutdown, or following completion of modifications to the EFW system which alters the system's flow characteristics, by verifying flow from the Condensate Storage Tank to each steam generator.

The above addition to the Technical Specifications will be incorporated into the next FSAP Amendment.
