Dear Mr. Eisenhut:
This letter provides confirmation that Philadelphia Electric Company endorses the BWR Owner's Group Report, dated May 22, 1981, (D. B. Waters, Chairman BWROG to D. G. Eisenhut, NRC) on NUREG-0737, Item II.K.3.25 regarding the consequences of a loss of cooling water to the reactor recirculation pump seal coolers.
Confirmation of our endorsement was requested by the Peach Bottom NRC Project Manager in a telephone conversation on October 28, 1982.
Additionally, the NRC Project Manager informed us that the NRC staff has accepted the results of the BWR Owners' Group Report previously referenced.

The results of the generic report referenced above are applicable to the Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station.
Plant specific responses, based on the generic report, were presented on the NUREG 0737, Item II.K.3.25 requirement in reference 1 and 2.
