Detail Quarterly Fee Billing Docket Report for NRR for the. Period September 20,1992 - December 26,1992 (Run Date May 10,1993)
Dear Ms. Tremper:
1 General Atomics (GA) has received the subject invoice for $10,701 for Part 55 -
services - replacement and requalification examinations and related items - for the period l
12/27/92-03/08/93, pursuant to 10 CFR 170.12(i) and 170.21.1. Pursuant to'10 CFR 15.3.1.
and 10 CFR 170.51, GA requests an extension of the payment 'due date for the purposes of:
appealing the invoiced amount. GA believes the invoiced amount for the services rendered l
to be excessive for the purpose of services related to the non-power reactor requalification exams conducted during this period.
i Based on limited information made available to GA with the referenced invoice, GA can only assume that the invoiced amount is for services rendered for the. preparation and l
conduct of one (1) Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) examination for GA's non-power reactor.
i facility. This amount appears to be excessive and unreasonable. Further, the exam was conducted on October 15,1992, and the license issued on November 16,1992, so any l
charges made after that date are also being disputed. GA disputes all but the followirig j
amounts for the preparation and conduct of this exam during the period September 20, 1992 - December 26, 1992-
