Dear Sir:
The purpose of this letter is to inform you that the submittal demonstrating compliance with 10CFR50 Appendix R Section III.G. will be submitted on or prior to February 18, 1982.
Additional time is required to perform certain analyses in support of exemption requests.
Also, we are in the process of preparing our submittal taking into consideration the guide-lines obtained during meetings with the NRC staff and the Utility Group regarding exemption requests.
In brief, the Authority submittal will provide a detail discussion of the re-examination of the fire protection capabilities performed for the FitzPatrick Facility; the results of the evalua-i tions; and exemption requests for those areas were the requirement of Appendix R are not met.
