10CFR50.59 SAFETY EVALUATION 2EC-0653 There will be no change to the technical specification or to the SAR as a result of this design change. The basic function of the system will remain unaltered.
2EC-0738 This Design Change Request concerns only hanger changes as required by the NRC Bulletin 79-07.
All designs will not functionally alter any safety systems, nor will they create or aggravate any safety hazards.
2EC-0858 Splitting the lantern ring will not effect the safe operation of the service water pump. The function of the lantern ring is not to provide I
a wate; tight seal nor is it a pressure retaining part, therefore, the integrity of the design has not been sacificed. Once installed, the hntern ring is restrained in every direction. Therefore, an unreviewed safety question is not involved.
I 2EC-0979
'Iastallation of steel ladders and platforms for observation of regeneration vessel sight glasses will neither affect any previously performed safety analysis nor affect the safe operation cf the plant and does not constitute an unreviewed safety question.
2EC-1335 The margin of safety for the centrifugal charging pumps and related discharge piping will not be reduced by the addition of an orifice, therefore, no unreviewed safety question is involved.
