Subject:
Inoperability of Seismic Monitor Gentlemen:
Revised Technical Specification Tables 3.3-7 and 4.3-4 were provided via Reference (c) and certified via Reference (d). These revised tables reflected the relocation of Triarial Seismic Response Spectrum Recorder 1-SM-XR-6708 from the 4 foot to the 22 foot elevation in the Service Water Pump House.
On February 9, 1990,-this monitor was moved to this new location.
This instrument, although capable of performi'ng its intended function, could not be considered operable pursuant to the requirements of the existing Seabrook Station Technical Specification 3.3.3.3 due to this relocation.
This monitor was returned to operable status on March 15, 1990, when revised Technical Specifications were issued via Reference (e).
