Dear Sir:
In Reference ', the Authority indicated that a review of the FitzPatrick facility practices for handling heavy loads was being conducted in accordance with Reference 2.
This review has shown that many of the staff positions in enclosure 2 to Reference 2 are adequately addressed by existing plant procedures and administrative controls.
In addition, based on this review, the need for these certain procedural modifications in order to fully comply with this position have been identified.
The necessary procedures are under preparation.
It is expected that this effort will be completed prior to the next refueling 8108120138 slos67 '

. outage tentatively to begin on October 1981.
Implementation of the procedural changes prior to the refueling outage will ensure that the measures necessary to comply with the interim actions are in place before making the heavy lift associated with the refueling operation.
Until such time as when these procedures are imple-mented, any heavy loads will be handled as previously indicated in Reference 3.
