i EVACUATION BED EUS BID SPECIFICATION New Hampshire Yankee (NHY) has submitted the Seebecek Plaa for Massachusetts Ccmmunities.

This plan has been written to deal with a pessible radiological emergency response at Seabrook Station.

One part of the plan is to provide transportation for those segments of the population which could not otherwise j

evacuate on their own.

In this regard, NHY is.in need of 35 full-size, buses

{

with low-back seats, to provide transportation for special needs people.

These vehicles would be outfitted with a patient transport system by others that allows.the use of a school bus to transport immobile patients (see attached).

4 This inquiry includes options for the purchase / lease of these vehicles.

Please provide quotations for the following scenarios, including the

' following assumptions:

i 1)

All vehicles are stored and maintained in a secured area provided by the f

bus company..

h 2)

All bus drivers (a minimum of 35) are employed by the bus ccmpany and i

hold a valid bus driver's license.

These drivers must be available on a 24 I

hour basis.

"t 3)

None of the vehicles currently relied upon by NHY can be used for this prooosal.

4)

All maintenance to be provided by the bus company.

Tnis will include. pre-ventive maintenance, quarterly test drive and daily start-up. All repairs to be approved by NHY prior to work being done.
