10 CFR 50.55 (e) Interim Report on Rod Drop Analysis
Dear Sir:
Reference 5 was submitted in accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 50.55 (e) and identified a deficiency in the rod drop analysis.
That interim report made a commitment to review the Westinghouse prepared topical report, which was to be prepared by mid 1980, and submit a final report on the rod drop analysis to you by 8/28/80.
Reference 6 was submitted to notify the NRC that because l
Westinghouse had not yet submitted a topical report, we were unable to provide a final report.-
Westinghouse has again notified us that the topical report is not complete
(
and will not be available for our review until the second quarter of 1981.
We now expect to have a final report to you on this subject by July, 1981.
