On January 13, 1981 Boston Edison confir:ned the fact that the indicator station for milk (Plimouth Plantation, 2 miles - W), which is samoled as part of the Environmental Radiation Monitoring Program, is no longer available.
Milk producing animals are no longer at this location.
Boston Edison has made arrangenents to obtain milk sa:nples from the residence of Mr. S. Whipple, who has about 19 cows.
(2) miles WSW of the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station.The location is approximately two There are no milk producing animals closer to the Pilgrim site based on Boston Edison's 1980 miik animal survey. There are no other milk producing animals within five (5) miles, according to the Plymouth town animal inspector.
