NRC DOCKET 50-366 OPERATING LICENSE NPF-5 EDWIN I. HATCH NUCLEAR PLANT UNIT 2 RPS MG SET POWER MONITORING SYSTEM Gentlemen:

Ouring verbal discussion with members of your staff, Georgia Power Company has been asked to confirm that the RPS MG Set Power Monitoring System logic is of the same design as that previously reviewed on the Unit 1 docket.

In fact, we have reviewed the designs and can state that they are identical. except for the physical location of equipment.

We were also asked to elaborate on the experience we have had with setpoint drift en the power monitoring systems. We are collecting the data sheets which have been completed during routine surveillance testing and will summarize the results following our review.

Very truly yours, h7
