NRC I&E BULLETIN N0. 79-28 POSSIBLE MALFUNCTION OF NAMC0 MODEL EA180 LIMIT SWITCHES AT ELEVATED TEMPERATURES
Dear Mr. Grier:
The FitzPatrick Plant staff has completed the action required for the subject bulletin.
It has been determined that NAMC0 Model EA180 switches are not used in any safety-related equipment located inside or outside of primary containment.
In addition, the FitzPatrick plant does not plan to install any of the subject switches and has incorporated into the purchase requisition check list, appropriate comments to preclude their inadvertent purchase and installation at the FitzPatrick Plant.
