Dear Mr. Cunningham:

This report is being submitted pursuant to the requirements of 10CFR70.59(a)(1)',

Effluent Monitoring Reporting Requirements, for facilities at the Vallecitos Nuclear Center (VNC) operated under License SNM-960.

However, due to the complexity of the VNC site and the use of a singic liquid effluent discharge point, it is not possible to differentiate between liquid effluent generated by License SNM-960 activities and those resulting from activities conducted under our State of California by product source material license or our test and research reactor license.

Similarly, no differentiation can be made between gaseous effluents generated by SNM-960 and our California by-product source material license.

The quantities listed below are for the calendar period July 1,1979 through December 31, 1979.
