Dear Sir:
In response to your letter of August 30, 1979, this letter provides details of the sample splitting procedure.
Boston Edison Company collects marine samples with the follcwing frequency:
Irish Moss Semi-Annually Lobster Four times / season Fish Quarterly Shellfish Quarterly At the time of sample collection, we will transmit an aliquot of a sample from the control station and from a sample taken near the Pilgrim Station discharge canal.
You must inform us about the minimum size sample you require and the address to which the.3 ample is to be sent.
Each sample will be accompanied by our lab sample submission code and information on the sample type, and the date and location of collection.
Mr. Tom Sowdon at 617-424-2753 will act as your contact and will arrange for the sample shipment to you and answer any questions which may arise.
Shipments to you will begin as soon as you provide the required information.
