17-465H R2 50-336 50-423 DPR-65 NPF-49 NOTIFICATION OF ACTION COMPLETION ASSOCIATED WITH CONFIRMATORY ORDER EA-17-077 - ITEM G.1 On November 21, 2017, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued
- Confirmatory Order EA-17-077 to,Dominion Energy Nuclear Connecticut, Inc. (DENG).
Section V of the Confirmatory Order requires that by December 31, 2019, DENC shall discuss this issue, including the results of the evaluations conducted as required by the Order and resulting corrective actions, with the following.industry groups: a) the Nuclear Security Working Group; and b) the 2019 National Nuclear Security Conference.
- In accordance with Item G.1, the discussion shall include reference to any identified organizational weaknesses that DENC determined contributed to the issue. Item G.1 specifies that within 30 days of completing each discussion, DENC shall inform the NRC, in writing, that the action is complete, and shall make the presentation materials available to the NRG for one year after the presentation for review during an inspection.
On March 19, 2019, DENC completed a presentation of Confirmatory Order EA-17-077 to the Nuclear Security Working Group. The presentation included a discussion of the issue, the results of the evaluations performed, including organizational weaknesses that contributed to the issue, and the resulting corrective actions taken. As specified in Item G.1, the presentation materials will be available to the NRC for one year after the presentation for review during an inspection.
