Dear Mr. Saverot:
We thank the NRC staff for the valuable input and discussions on the HI-STAR ATB-1T package during the meeting on November 13 [5]. Holtec believes that in order to support an efficient and timely review of the application, additional information needs to be included, specifically on the material testing and the performance of the seal areas. We will re-submit the application once all such information is included, which we expect to occur in early 2019. Before the re~submittal we will request a meeting to provide a comprehensive overview of the application with special focus on the added material. Given the complex nature of the application, and the reviews already performed, we would hope NRC's review time will remain unchanged.
