RECEIPT AND AVAILABILITY OF THE SUBSEQUENT LICENSE RENEWAL APPLICATION FOR THE PEACH BOTTOM ATOMIC POWER STATION UNITS 2 AND 3
Dear Mr. Gallagher:
By letters dated July 10, 2018, (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Package Accession No. ML18193A689), the Exelon Generation Company, LLC, (Exelon) submitted an application for subsequent license renewal of the Renewed Facility Operating License Nos. DPR-44 and DPR-56 for the Peach Bottom Atomic Power Stations Unit Nos. 2 and 3 (Peach Bottom) to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC or staff). We are currently performing an acceptance review for docketing in accordance with the requirements of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations Section 2.101 (10 CFR 2.101) and will notify you of the results of our review. Should the NRC staff determine that the application is acceptable for docketing, the NRC staff will issue a schedule for the review.
We have enclosed for your information a copy of the notice relating to your application that is being sent to the Office of the Federal Register for publication.
Dr. Bennett M. Brady is the project manager for the NRC staff safety review, and Mr. David Drucker is the project manager for the environmental review of your license renewal application.
Please forward copies of all license renewal correspondence to Dr. Brady and Mr. Drucker. Ms.
Jennifer Tobin continues to remain responsible for the project management of all issues other than license renewal for Peach Bottom.
