License Nos.92-211 R1 50-280 50-281 DPR-32 DPR-37 Generic Letter (GL) 92-01, Revision 1, dated March 6, 1992, was issued to obtain information needed for the NRC to assess compliance with requirements and commitments regarding reactor vessel integrity. The generic letter requests each utility to provide specific information on their plants' reactor vessel materials surveillance programs, unirradiated and irradiated properties of reactor vessel materials, and plant operating conditions.
The requested information for Surry Units 1 and 2 is included in B&W Owners Group Report BAW-2166, dated June 1992 and entitled "B&W Owners Group Response to Generic Letter 92-01." This report has been separately transmitted to the NRC by the B&W Owners Group.
However, the portion of this report applicable to Surry is excerpted and attached for the NRC's review.
Review of the Surry Units 1 and 2 reactor vessel data and programs conducted to respond to this generic letter indicates that Surry continues to be in compliance with applicable regulations governing reactor vessel integrity.
