May 18, 2016 This letter serves as the reply from Oregon State University to NRC Generic Letter 2016-01, Monitoring of Neutron-Absorbing Materials in Spent Fuel Pools, requesting*facility information on the use of neutron-absorbing materials. T.he OSTR does not use neutron-absorbing materials for fuel storage or criticality control nor does it credit their use in any facility licensing documentation.
