HUMBOLDT BAY POWER PLANT UNIT 3 - REQUEST FOR NRC APPROVAL OF REVISION 32 TO THE HUMBOLDT BAY QUALITY ASSURANCE PLAN
Dear Mr. Halpin:
By letter dated June 10, 2014, Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E) submitted a proposed revision to the Humboldt Bay Quality Assurance Plan (HBQAP) for the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) review and approval. By letter dated July 31, 2014, the NRC requested additional information related to three items that were deleted in the revised HBQAP. By letter dated August 15, 2014, PG&E submitted a revised HBQAP that reinstated the items in question.
Based on our review of revised HBQAP with the items now reinstated, we find the revision 32 of the HBQAP to be acceptable.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRCs Agency Rules of Practice and Procedure, a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records component of NRCs Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS). ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html.
