Dear Mr. Lochbaum:
This is a periodic update regarding your petition dated July 10, 2012. The petition requested that the NRC staff take enforcement action at the Brunswick Steam Electric Plant (BSEP), Units 1 and 2, that would result in revisions to the operating license. This status update fulfills the guidance in Management Directive 8.11, Review Process for 10 CFR 2.206 petitions for periodic status updates.
The review of your petition continues. The current estimated issuance date of the proposed Directors Decision is September 27, 2013. The target issuance date of the final Directors Decision is 75 days after the issuance date of the proposed Directors Decision. Thank you again for your patience.
