Dear Sir or Madam:

On March 12, 2012, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued Reference 1 to all power reactor licensees and holders of construction permits in active or deferred status. Enclosure 1 of Reference 1 contains specific Requested Actions, Requested Information, and Required Response associated with Recommendation 2.1, Seismic Evaluations. Reference 1 requires a "60-day response" in which each addressee must submit: (1) its intent to follow the developed guidance, or (2) an alternative approach including acceptance criteria. In accordance with References 1 and 2, and 10 CFR 50.4(a), the 60-day responses are due to the NRC by April 29, 2013.

PNP 2013-033 Page 2 Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc. intends to respond to Enclosure 1 of Reference 1 by following the approach described in Reference 3 on the schedule provided in Reference 3.

This letter contains a new regulatory commitment which is identified in Attachment 1.
