OF MEETING WITH OMAHA PUBLIC POWER DISTRICT TO DISCUSS THE SPECIFICS OF THE TRANSITION OF FORT CALHOUN STATION TO REGULATORY OVERSIGHT UNDER THE NRC INSPECTION MANUAL CHAPTER 0350 PROCESS On January 19, 2012, a Category 1 public meeting was held between the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and representatives from Omaha Public Power District (OPPD) at the Doubletree Hotel, 1616 Dodge St, Omaha, Nebraska. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the changes to regulatory oversight of Fort Calhoun Station. This was the first meeting since Fort Calhoun Station transitioned to the NRC Inspection Manual Chapter (IMC) 0350 Oversight Process. The licensee was notified of the transition via letter dated December 13, 2011 (ADAMS Accession No. ML113470721). A list of attendees is enclosed (Enclosure 1).

At this meeting, the NRC presented specifics of the change in regulatory oversight of Fort Calhoun Station to the IMC 0350 process. Additionally, OPPD representatives presented meeting slides entitled, Plant Improvement Plan. Copies of both of the presentations are enclosed (Enclosures 2 and 3).
