WATTS BAR NUCLEAR PLANT (WBN) UNIT 2 - INSTRUMENTATION AND CONTROLS STAFF INFORMATION REQUESTS TVA letter to NRC dated December 22, 2010, "Watts Bar Nuclear Plant (WBN)

Unit 2 - Instrumentation and Controls Staff Information Requests" The purpose of this letter is to provide documents that TVA committed in the referenced letter to send to NRC in support of its review of the Common Q Post-Accident Monitoring System (PAMS) documents. Specifically, as stated in TVA's December 22, 2010 letter to NRC (Reference):

During review of recent Common Q document submittals, discrepancies were identified in various documents. These discrepancies are identified in Attachment 18.

Excerpt from Referece 1, Attachment 18

5. WNA-AR-00180-WBT-P, Revision 0, "Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) for the Post Accident Monitoring System," dated October 2010
a. Section 2.2 "System Description" and Table 3-1 "WB2 PAMS FMEA: Change "FE switch" to "FE keyswitch."
b. Table 3-1: Change "Functional Enable (FE) switch" to "Function Enable (FE) keyswitch and "FE key-switch" to "FE keyswitch".

The discrepancies identified above will be corrected in the next revision of the identified documents. TVA will submit the revised documents within two weeks of receipt from Westinghouse.

U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Page 2 March 2, 2011 The Westinghouse Electric Company (WEC) has revised and reissued the proprietary and non-proprietary versions of WNA-AR-001 80-WBT to address these discripancies and are attached to this letter. The Enclosure contains a detailed list of the attached documents that TVA committed to send to NRC. contains information proprietary to WEC. TVA requests that the WEC proprietary information be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with 10 CFR § 2.390. contains the corresponding non-proprietary version of the document. The corresponding affidavit for withholding proprietary information from public disclosure is contained in Attachment 3. As requested by the NRC, the attached documents have been reviewed and approved by engineering.
