U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION ENDORSEMENT OF NEI 09-10, GUIDELINES FOR EFFECTIVE PREVENTION AND MANAGEMENT OF SYSTEM GAS ACCUMULATION
Dear Mr. Riley,
In regard to your April 5, 2010, letter, the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) acknowledges your intent to submit Revision 1 of NEI 09-10, Guidelines for Effective Prevention and Management of System Gas Accumulation for NRC endorsement by the end of 2010. We value the continuing exchange of information regarding NEI 09-10 Revision 1, and if applicable, the NRC plans to use a Regulatory Issue Summary as the vehicle for communicating endorsement.
In regard to the fee waiver request, the Office of the Chief Financial Officer, James E. Dyer will formally respond after making a determination pursuant to Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations Part 170.
