Dear Mr. Sheppard:
By letters dated May 19, October 4, and October 17, 2005, March 31, 2006, January 11, June 13, June 29, July 13, July 20, and December 6, 2007, the Commission issued amendments to Facility Operating Licenses (FOL) numbered NPF-76 and NPF-80, respectively, for the South Texas Project, Units 1 and 2 as follows:
Amendments 172 and 160 consisted of changes to remove references to AEP Texas Central Company in the FOL in response to your application dated October 21, 2004 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML050960593).
Amendments 173 and 161 consisted of changes to the Technical Specification (TS) requirements for inservice test and inservice inspection in response to your application dated July 4, 2005 (ADAMS Accession No. ML052490255).
Amendments 174 and 162 consisted of changes to the TS related to reactor coolant system leakage detection in response to your application dated June 2, 2005 (ADAMS Accession No. ML052370096).
Amendments 175 and 163 consisted of changes to the TS to incorporate Best Estimate Analyzer for Core Operations - Nuclear in response to your application dated August 30, 2005 (ADAMS Accession No. ML060760501).
Amendment 176 (Unit 1) consisted of changes to the TS related to a one-time change to loss of power instrumentation in response to your application dated December 20, 2006 (ADAMS Accession No. ML070100198).
Amendments 177 and 164 consisted of changes to the TS related to accident monitoring instrumentation in response to your application dated March 30, 2006 (ADAMS Accession No. ML071430234).
Amendments 178 and 165 consisted of changes to the FOL resulting from licensee name change in response to your application dated April 4, 2006 (ADAMS Accession No. ML071280118).
Amendments 179 and 166 consisted of broad scope risk-informed changes to the TS in response to your resubmitted application dated June 6, 2006 (ADAMS Accession No. ML071780186).
Amendments 180 and 167 consisted of changes to the TS for batteries and DC
[Direct Current] systems in response to your application dated February 28, 2006 (ADAMS Accession No. ML071590171).
Amendments 181 and 168 consisted of changes to TS related to auxiliary feedwater system, in response to your application dated February 28, 2007 (ADAMS Accession No. ML073090304).
The Commission inadvertently issued the subject amendments with amendment pages containing the name of previously-deleted AEP Texas Central Company as one of the owners.
The respective amendment pages have been corrected by removing the name of AEP Texas Central Company, and the corrected pages are enclosed for incorporation in the stated amendments. We regret any inconvenience caused by this error.
