Confirmatory Action Letter Notification

Letter from Samuel J. Collins (U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission) to Christopher M. Crane (Exelon Generation Company, LLC) dated October 19, 2007
Dear Mr. Collins:
In the referenced letter, Exelon corporate security management personnel, with the assistance of other security managers, were committed to conduct and document, daily random observations of security at Peach Bottom until November 18, 2007. This letter is to provide written notification that observations by corporate security management were not conducted on October 20, 2007.
It should be noted, however, that site management performed five observations that day. Mr. Jim Trapp was verbally notified of this issue. We have entered this event into our corrective action process and additional actions have been taken to address this condition.
