- Diane, Attached is a Draft Request for Additional Information (RAI) related to the relief request dated August 17,2006, for Millstone Power Station, Unit Nos. 2 and 3 (TACs MD2866 and MD2867). The relief request is for approval to use alternatives to the system hydrostatic pressure test requirements of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
Code,Section XI, 1989 Edition, under Examination Category B-P, for segments of Class 1 reactor coolant pressure boundary (RCPB) piping. After reviewing this draft RAI, please contact me at 301-415-3204 to discuss the need for a teleconference concerning the draft RAI and to discuss a due date for the response.
