Dear Sir or Madam:
By letter dated November 23, 2004, NMC (the former licensee for Palisades Nuclear Plant (PNP)) provided a revised schedule of commitments in regards to Generic Letter 2003-01, "Control Room Habitability."
In the letter, commitment #4 was made to submit Technical Specification changes 120 days from issuance of Technical Specification Task Force (TSTF) 448, "Control Room Habitability," at PNP. TSTF-448 was issued on January 17, 2007. Therefore, commitment #4 would have been due May 17, 2007.
Subsequent to the issuance of TSTF-448, Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc. (ENO) determined that additional time was necessary to complete commitment #4 at PNP.
Therefore, ENO is revising this commitment as described below.
Summary of Commitments This letter contains no new commitments and one revision to existing commitments.
Commitment made by letter dated November 23, 2004:
- 4. Development of technical specification changes (and any associated plant modifications) to support requested information GL 2003-01 item 1(c). The schedule for completion was T+120 days (1).
(1) Technical Specification submittal dates are contingent on timely approval and issuance of the CLIIP for the TSTF-448 traveler on control room habitability. Completion dates may change based upon any plant modifications determined to be necessary by the testing.
