Dear Mr. Keenan:
The NRC has received your application dated April 4, 2007, requesting an amendment to your license to allow the results of near-term surveys, performed on a portion of the plant site, to be included in the eventual Final Status Survey for license termination.
We have completed the initial processing, which is an administrative review, and have accepted your application for a more detailed technical review. The more detailed technical review may identify omissions in the submitted information or technical issues that require a request for additional information (RAI). If needed, these will be forwarded to you in the future. The staff expects to complete its review by October 4, 2007, if no RAI is required.
