ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF WITHDRAWAL OF REQUEST FOR NRC TO RESCIND FUTURE INDEPENDENT ASSESSMENTS OF OPERATIONS PERFORMANCE AT THE DAVIS-BESSE NUCLEAR POWER STATION AND RECEIPT OF OPERATIONS PERFORMANCE INDEPENDENT ASSESSMENT PLAN FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2007
Dear Mr. Bezilla:
This acknowledges receipt of your letter dated March 13, 2007, through which you withdrew your request for the NRC to rescind the Confirmatory Order requirements to perform the remaining 2 years of Operations Performance independent assessments, and provided the assessment plan and related information for the year 2007 independent assessment of the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station Operations Performance.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRC's document system (ADAMS),
accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html (the Public Electronic Reading Room).
