RE: Resumption of well sampling
Dear Tom,
It is the NRC intention to accomplish observation of the Trap Rock Quarry seepage sample next week.
The additional split-sample requests do not have to be accomplished next week, but in the near future.
For your information, the additional Unit 1 split-samples are being requested due to errors detected in the Teledyne Sr-90 analysis results, so these samples are needed to reestablish the Unit 1 monitoring well results.
- Regards, Jim

- All, I assume that all these wells are splits. This will be for a total o 63 samples not counting the ones around RW-1. This will be difficult to achieve Mw-37 will take the whole day itself plus the homeland security Exercise on Tuesday which I would assume will have a site evacation except for watch and priority 1 tasks.

Resumption of well sampling All-GZA has given us approval to restart our well sampling program.
Based upon our data needs, wells MW-53 through MW-57 will be sampled starting tomorrow (11/8/06). Sample IDs have been generated for these samples based upon the sample lDs generated for the initial samples.
The sample IDs are attached.
The NRC has proposed obtaining splits from as many of the following wells as possible next week:
MW-42, MW-49, MW-50, MW-36, MW-37, MW-58, MW-59, MW-39, MW-41 and MW-45.
If time permits after collection of the MW-53 through MW-57 wells, we would like to obtain samples from wells surrounding RW-1 to determine
le - RE: Resumption of well sampling the effect of the pump test.
If you have any questions, please contact Jay, Pat or myself.
Pete
