Doug, As we have discussed recently, there are several subjects the NRC staff requests you and your staff address. Please review the following 8 issues and let me know when your staff can discuss, via a conference call, these issues with NRC staff.

1) RAI 2.3.3.9 was discussed during the 10/10/2006 conference call. A 3/9/1977 letter (listed in 11/2/2006 e-mail from Doug Ellis) addresses commitment to satisfy Appendix A to BTP APCSB 9.5-1. Address this letter or addition to LRA adequately committing Pilgrim to satisfy Appendix A to BTP APCSB 9.5-1.

2) RAI 2.4.3-1 NRC staff considers Trash rack and traveling screens in scope for license renewal and requests descriptions of the monitoring programs for these components.

3) RAT 2.4.5 In Amendment 8 to the LRA it was stated that 'Transmission Towers" are in LRA Table 2.4-1. It appears Transmission Towers are in LRA Table 2.4-5. Please confirm the location within the LRA.

4) RAI 2.4.3 Amendment 8 includes 'The jib crane does not require aging management review because it does not perform a license renewal intended function." NRC staff requests the applicant clarify and provide additional justification for the above statement that the crane is does not perform a license renewal intended function.

5) BWRVIP 94 - Address Pilgrim commitment to this document or provide procedure demonstrating it is in scope (Pete Oskas

(?) provided such a procedure for VY or Fitz).

6) Address Pilgrim commitment to abide by BWRVIP 76 requirements.

7) The core shroud tie rod repair upper bracket is made of Alloy X750. SIL from GE addressed issues with this component at Pilgrim. Please address Pilgrims plans to inspect, replace or repair this component.

8) CASS main steam flow restrictor, RCS pump casings and valve bodies, and piping - address Pilgrim testing for Reduction of Fracture Toughness
