PILGRIM NUCLEAR POWER STATION REPLY TO NOTICE OF VIOLATION DATED SEPTEMBER 11, 2006
Dear Mr. Balduzzi:
This acknowledges receipt of your letter dated October 10, 2006, in response to our letter dated September 11, 2006, which transmitted a Notice of Violation involving inadequate records of the inventory, transfer, and disposal of all special nuclear material (SNM) in your possession and your failure to conduct an adequate physical inventory of all SNM in your possession. We have reviewed the corrective actions as described in your letter, and we have no further questions at this time. Your corrective actions will be examined during a future inspection activity. In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of the NRC's document system (ADAMS).
