PILGRIM NUCLEAR POWER STATION - CORRECTION TO AMENDMENT NO. 221 RE: REVISED ROD WORTH MINIMIZER BYPASS ALLOWANCES (TAC NO. MC7055)
Dear Mr. Kansler:
On April 13, 2006, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued Amendment No. 221 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-35 for the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station (Pilgrim). The amendment revised the Technical Specifications (TSs) allowances for bypassing the rod worth minimizer.
Subsequent to issuance, two minor administrative errors were noticed on one of the issued TS pages. The marginal line on TS page 3/4.3-11 was not included with the approved change associated with TS Section 3.3.F.A.2.1.2 and an equal sign was inadvertently introduced below the greater than symbol on the unchanged TS Section 4.3.F.SR4.3.F.2. when the page was re-typed for issuance.
Enclosed please find the corrected replacement page for these inadvertent administrative errors. This correction does not change any of the conclusions made by the NRC staff in the safety evaluation. If you have any questions please contact me at (301) 415-1388.
