Dear Mr. Tschiltz:
In Reference 1, NRC requested that Energy Northwest provide plant-specific iffotriationtosutpprt'th-e-BrobokhasengNationalfLaboratory'sc(BNL) significance determination process (SDP) notebook enhancement/standardization effort. The BNL effort will result in the issuance of revision 2 of the SDP notebooks. NRC also requested that Energy Northwest provide any comments we might have on revision 1 of the SDP notebooks.
The NRC requested our response be provided on a compact disk (CD) within 30 days of receipt of the request.' Following verbal agreement, Energy'Northwest committed to respond by December 15, 2004 (reference 2). This letter transmits the requested information contain'ed in th'e enclosed CD.
Please withhold the'information from public disclosure in accordance with'Section 2.390(d) of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR 2.390).
