RIVER BEND STATION, UNIT 1 - CORRECTION TO ADMINISTRATIVE CHANGE TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE AND SAFETY EVALUATION PURSUANT TO COMMISSION ORDER EA-03-086 REGARDING REVISIONS TO PHYSICAL SECURITY PLAN, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATION PLAN, AND SAFEGUARDS CONTINGENCY PLAN (TAC NO. MC2963)
Dear Mr. Hinnenkamp:
By letter dated October 28, 2004, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued an administrative change to Facility Operating License (FOL) NPF-47 for River Bend Station, Unit 1, to incorporate the reference to the recently-revised physical security plan, training and qualification plan, and safeguards contingency plan. Your staff identified errors in the revised license page and in the Safety Evaluation (SE) provided in the October 28, 2004, letter.
Therefore, the NRC is issuing a corrected page to the FOL and to pages 14 and 49 of the SE, which contain Safeguards Information. The revised license and SE pages for River Bend Station, Unit 1, are enclosed. We regret any inconvenience this may have caused.

CHANGES TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE NO. NPF-47 DOCKET NO. 50-458 Replace the following page of the Facility Operating License NPF-47 with the attached revised page as indicated. The revised page is identified by revision date and contains marginal lines indicating the area of change.

The licensee shall fully implement and maintain in effect all provisions of the Commission-approved physical security, training and qualification, and safeguards contingency plans including amendments made pursuant to the provisions of the Miscellaneous Amendments and Search Requirements revisions to 10 CFR 73.55 (51 FR 27817 and 27822) and to the authority of 10 CFR 50.90 and 10 CFR 50.54(p). The combined set of plans, which contain Safeguards Information protected under 10 CFR 73.21, is entitled: "Physical Security, Safeguards Contingency and Training and Qualifications Plan" submitted by letter dated September 30, 2004.
E.
Except as otherwise provided in the Technical Specifications or Environmental Protection Plan, EOI shall report any violations of the requirements contained in Section 2, Items C.(1); C.(3) through (9); and C.(11) through (16) of this license in the following manner: initial notification shall be made within 24 hours2.777778e-4 days <br />0.00667 hours <br />3.968254e-5 weeks <br />9.132e-6 months <br /> to the NRC Operations Center via the Emergency Notification System with written followup within 60 days in accordance with the procedures described in 10 CFR 50.73 (b), (c) and (e).
F.
The licensee shall have and maintain financial protection of such type and in such amounts as the Commission shall require in accordance with Section 170 of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended, to cover public liability claims.
G.
This license is effective as of the date of issuance and shall expire at midnight on August 29, 2025.
