DOCKET NO.: 50-272 UNIT: Salem 1 DATE: 1/9/04 COMPLETED BY: R. Ritzman TELEPHONE: (856) 339-1445 Summary Of Monthly Operating Experience Salem 1 entered the month at a reduced power level and reached 100% power on December 1.
On December 5, Salem 1 was reduced to approximately 72% power due to 500KV line outage. Power was restored to 100% on December 6.
On December 24, Salem I was reduced to approximately 91 % power and later to approximately 82% power due to circulators out of service and excessive river grass intrusion.
Power was restored to 100% on December 28.
On December 30, Salem I was reduced to approximately 82% power due to circulators out of service. Power remained at a reduced level to the end of the month.
At the end of the month, Salem 1 completed 73 days of continuous on-line operation.
