Gentlemen:
I am writing in response to the Commission's October 7, 2003 request for a plan for full or partial divestiture of the Aerotest Radiography and Research Reactor (ARRR).
In the intervening weeks we have been engaged in discussions with two parties, each of whom has expressed an interest in acquiring ownership ofthe facility. While we understand the need to address this situation as expeditiously as possible, we feel that we need additional time to evaluate whether either of these opportunities is viable, and if not, to prepare and present alternate divestiture and negation plans. I would, therefore, respectfully request an additional 45 days from the date hereof to present our plan to the Commission.
