CONFIRMATION OF INITIAL/REQUALIFICATION OPERATOR LICENSE EXAMINATIONS: BYRON STATION
Dear Mr. Skolds:
In a telephone conversation on June 19, 2003, between Mr. D. McNeil of my staff and Mr. R.
Meyer, Operations Training Instructor, it was confirmed that Byron Nuclear Station has not requested an initial license examination during the calendar year 2004. During the telephone conversation Mr. Meyer confirmed that the week of August 16, 2004, scheduled for the biennial requalification program inspection (IP 71111.11B), was still within the anticipated requalification examination administration cycle. Please inform us at your earliest opportunity if you discover you need to change the scheduled dates for either of the examinations.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRCs "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRCs document system (ADAMS). ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html (the Public Electronic Reading Room).
