Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station (PVNGS)
Units 1, 2, and 3 Docket Nos. STN 50-52815291530 Emergency Plan Implementing Procedure Changes Enclosed are copies of revised PVNGS Emergency Plan Implementing Procedures (EPIPs),
which identify the removal of the Post Accident Sampling System (PASS). These EPIP's are being submitted in accordance with 10 CFR 50, Appendix E.V. The EPIPs included with this transmittal are indicated on the enclosed list. The effective date of these EPIPs is March 13, 2002.
In accordance with 10 CFR 50.4, APS is forwarding two copies of the enclosure to the NRC Region IV Office and a copy of the revised EPIPs has been provided to the NRC Resident Inspector. These procedures supersede all former PVNGS Emergency Plan Implementing Procedures.
The revised EPIPs are also being submitted electronically on CD-ROM as allowed by NRC RIS 2001-05 "Guidance on Submitting Documents to the NRC by Electronic Exchange or on CD-ROM," dated January 25, 2001.
