ENCLOSURE Technical Specification Task Force Meeting January 10 and 11, 2000 Staff met with the Nuclear Energy Institute Technical Specification Task Force (NEI TSTF) on January 10-11, 2000. The status of Revision 2 to the iSTS and work on high priority changes (TSTFs) were discussed.

Participants agreed to delay electronic posting of draft Revision 2 until all modifications planned for inclusion were dispositioned and incorporated. Also, when review indicated a substantive problem with a previously approved TSTF, a new TSTF will be generated to address the problem. Staff also committed to provide any formatting guidance now on hand; to determine if additional guidance should be generated; and to provide Corel files for use by the TSTF to develop format descriptions.

Status of high priority TSTFs was discussed as detailed in Attachment 1. Attachments 2-5 were provided to the NEI TSTF in this connection.

Finally, the development of a generic process for TSTF adoption was discussed (Attachment 6).
