NRC INSPECTION REPORT NO. 072-00027/2010-002
On January 12-13, 2010, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) conducted a special inspection at the Humboldt Bay Power Plant of the Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation (ISFSI). The purpose of the inspection was to evaluate whether the protection of the ISFSI was in compliance with the Humboldt Bay Power Plant Physical Security Plan (PSP) for the ISFSI, and the additional security measures imposed by the NRC Order dated September 17, 200 At the conclusion of the on-site inspection on January 13, 2010, the inspectors discussed the inspection findings with members of your staf The inspection examined activities conducted under your license as they relate to security and compliance with the Commissions rules and regulations and with the conditions of your licens The inspectors reviewed selected procedures and records, observed activities, and interviewed personne Based on the results of this inspection, no findings of significance were identifie In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records System (PARS) component of NRC's Agency Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS), accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html (the Public Electronic Reading Room).
